Lane Cove National Park - On our doorstep

Lane Cove River is a great place to relax!

Han and I haven't got out on the water yet, however we do intend to very soon!

There are so many different types of spiderweb out here! I steer clear of and webs which look like funnels! :)

I am enjoying the walk.....honest!

Hannah Art

This is where it all started! painting in a tent (which was our home in Sydney for near two months). I would go off to work in the morning leaving Hannah in the campsite, and I would return in the afternoon and find art everywhere.

This was Han's first collection for the Lane Cove Alive Art and Craft Market which is held every month. $85 a pitch is quite expensive but Han has sold quite a bit of her work so she covers the cost of the pitch and takes a little home.

Hannah's first ever stall!

Third or Forth stall!?

Sixth Stall.........there is actually loads of new artwork now so I will have to get the photos up soon. Han has got into textiles now, which I think is where here imagination can go wild. Also the textile pieces sell really well

Two Cranes constructed by Sophie (cheers Sis)

Hannah brainstorming..........which usually means coating the floor in all her art stuff, and me picking pins out of my toes every other day

Bollywood Night

Hannah went to Bollywood Night arranged by church. Above is Freddie.....who realised she didn't have any indian type clothing so decided to come as a man.

Monica, Jo, Skye, Heidi and Freddie............trying to pull off a Bollywood pose

Some dancers came to show the women how to dance. Oh ...... this was a womens only event so I am commentating on something I know nothing about.

Heidi

Jo (looking more 1980's than Bollywood) but who am I to judge

Australia Day - Castle Rock

This dog was the highlight of Han's Australia Day. The weather was amazing a nice and warm 33C with a cooling breeze every so often. The public holiday seems like a good excuse to chill some tinnies and head to the beach! Ideal

Hannah and Anita

No major activity, just soaking up the sun and relaxing :)

The dog however was working hard trying to chase every ball on the beach!

Phil, Anita and Hannah..................and that dog again!

New Years Fireworks at Sydney Harbour

Jon and I decided it was a good idea to go swimming with the Bull Sharks at 12:30 am January 1st 2010.....we lived to tell the tale.

Hannah going in for my close up......also I stank! the water wasn't very nice as every boat in Sydney was in the harbour and with the amount of drinking going on there was a lot of people going to the toilet...if you get my drift.

Amazing Firework Display!!!!!!! I'm sure it is one of the biggest in the world!

Our neighbours for the evening....no Carl Kennedy though.

Waiting for the fireworks to start.

Han going Native

If you needed refreshment there were many boats mooring at each bay selling ice-cream, cold drinks and coffee
