A week gone by...
We walked along Hervey Bay beach which is about 14km long, it also over looks Fraser Island, and our camp site is on the beach front. John and Jenny own the campsite. He is from Belfast and has lived here for 35 years but hasn't lost a bit of his accent. Jenny is from London originally, and has lived here for 40 years. We are staying tonight (tuesday 4th) and off towards Bunderberg tomorrow. Plus we will be stopping off at Woodgate Nature Reserve and hopefully share the beach with the odd wild Kangaroo :)

Came across a starfish which had made a sand angel of itself on Hervey Bay beach
Fraser Island. Met a couple of Dingo's
Inskip Point, up from Rainbow Beach. We camped here for 3 nights in the Nature Reserve. Really enjoyed it!!!

This is our first camp in 'Whitsun' (yes we have named it) this was a bit of a drive north of the Glasshouse Mountains. Saw a massive, i mean massive, spider! Luckily Hannah didn't.
After exchanging money and documents on our van we went to the 'lookout' over the Glasshouse Mountains.
There were five Pelicans roosting north of Manly where we rested after our bike ride.
Hannah and I hired bikes (cruisers) and cycled along from Manly up to Wellington Point, however we didn't quite make it.

Whitsun was named due to random conversations we were having around the campfire on our wedding. Involved Hannah, Me and a very drunk Russ and Brendon.....had to be there really :)
